BECOME A GREETER
As a Greeter, we like to welcome visitors to our region as guests, as we would for friends or acquaintances visiting us. We want to get to know the hosts of our region and, as volunteers, we see ourselves as ambassadors for Brabant Hesbaye.
As a Greeter, you can have contacts with many interesting people, coming from different cities, countries and continents. What is more, this might lead to new friendships and reciprocal cultural exchanges. Why not contact us and become a Greeter ?
What does a Greeter do ?
A Greeter receives a group of 1 to 6 guests and ensures that they feel at ease. A Greeter gives them the chance to discover the region – whatever the weather – and makes sure they get a unique and personal impression. During the guided walk the Greeter shows them their village or town, their favorite places, their farmer’s market, their local shops, the historical buildings, in short everything that defines the region for Greeter. The Greeter can also talk about aspects or places that are not found in tour guides and is ready to answer questions.
